Who We Are

Homina was born from the meeting of life experience, deep listening and conscious care. We are real people, with our own human journeys, who place presence and relationship at the center of everything that happens in this space.

We do not work with fixed formulas. We accompany people, moments and processes, respecting each person’s rhythm, boundaries and uniqueness.

Carla Amaro

Doula · Water Therapies · Body and Emotional Support

Carla accompanies people through moments of transition, care and regeneration, with a deeply welcoming presence and an attentive listening to the body, emotions and personal history of each person.

Motherhood runs through her personal and professional journey, shaping the way she creates spaces of support, trust and listening — especially during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, when the body and emotional system require particular sensitivity and care.

Water therapies hold a central place in her work. Water becomes a space of holding, containment and surrender, where it is possible to relax, release deep tensions and reconnect with a sense of primordial safety.

At Homina, Carla creates safe environments where it is possible to slow down, feel and allow the body to find its own rhythm of balance, always respecting boundaries, consent and each person’s moment.

Mário Rui Cardoso

Deep Listening · Inner Support · Systemic Perspective and Integration

Mário accompanies people in processes of self-knowledge and inner integration, through deep listening, conscious presence and an attentive awareness of the systemic dynamics that shape human experience.

His work recognizes that many personal, emotional and relational challenges do not exist in isolation, but emerge from family, relational and transgenerational contexts. Through careful and compassionate support, he helps bring awareness to these patterns and open new spaces for choice.

At Homina, he facilitates spaces of safety where it is possible to look inward with honesty, clarity and respect, supporting processes of awareness, integration and personal responsibility.

Our Commitment

At Homina, care is rooted in listening, respect and consent.

The experiences we facilitate are spaces of conscious well-being and human support. We do not promise cures, nor do we replace medical, psychological or psychiatric care.

We believe in unique processes, adjusted to each person’s rhythm, history and moment in life.

At Homina, we believe in human encounters, true presence and conscious care. Each experience is an invitation to slow down, listen and inhabit the body and life with greater integrity.
